Emergency Department – Continuous 24-Hour Medical Service
The Emergency Department serves as the first line of care for urgent and critical medical cases. The department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing immediate, professional, and continuous medical care to all patients.
The department is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes:
* Emergency Physicians: Assess patients upon arrival, perform clinical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, initiate immediate treatment, and determine the appropriate course of care, including referral to hospitals when required.
* Nursing Staff: Provide continuous nursing care, monitor vital signs, administer medications and intravenous fluids, observe patients’ conditions, and participate in resuscitation and emergency procedures.
* Ambulance Teams: Consist of qualified paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and ambulance drivers who provide rapid emergency response, deliver initial medical care at the scene, safely transport patients while maintaining continuity of care, and coordinate with hospitals when necessary.
The Emergency Department provides a wide range of services, including:
* Receiving patients and performing initial emergency triage.
* Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and managing life-threatening conditions.
* Treating injuries, accidents, wounds, and burns.
* Managing heart emergencies, strokes, breathing difficulties, and other acute medical conditions.
* Treating severe hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, seizures, poisoning cases, and severe allergic reactions.
* Performing urgent laboratory tests and medical imaging to support rapid diagnosis.
* Stabilizing fractures and injuries before transfer when needed.
* Coordinating with ambulance teams and hospitals for continued care in cases requiring advanced treatment or hospitalization.
